coL to Northern Arena final over Nexus

compLexity are through to the grand final of Northern Arena after moving past Nexus 2-1 (16-2 on de_inferno, 12-16 on de_cobblestone and 16-2 on de_cache).

With CLG already through to the grand final of Northern Arena after seeing off SPLYCE 2-1, the second spot in the title decider of the Canadian event was contested by compLexity and Nexus, two teams fielding stand-ins, namely Matt "⁠Warden⁠" Dickens and Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele, respectively.

coL got off to a flying start in the series and took a 1-0 lead after breezing past their opponents 16-2 on de_inferno. The following map, de_cobblestone, was highly contested from start to finish, and in the Nexus ran out 16-12 victors after taking eight rounds in each half.

SEMPHIS & co advance to the grand final 

It all came down to de_cache, which was pretty much a repeat of the first map as compLexity dominated the game from the start to cruise to a 16-2 victory.

CLG and compLexity will face each other in the grand final, scheduled to start at 18:15 , with the winner taking home the first prize of $10,000.
